FILM FACT: The Planetarium in Hamburg, Germany, LICHTMOND produced a 360-degree planetarium show, which regularly runs in Hamburg since April 2013. [7] The show is now sold to other planetariums worldwide, so it runs among others in the Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake City. Since March 2014 LICHTMOND have created their own radio show on Radio Classic: The Classic Lounge with LICHTMOND. Broadcasting the show every first Friday of the month at around 22:00 hrs to 24:00 hrs. The technical quality of the productions of LICHTMOND and the project is a reference for surround sound, and the 3D highest image quality. LICHTMOND already produces for the high definition television format UHD in Germany.

Andrew's Blu-ray Review: ‘LICHTMOND 1: MOONLIGHT’ presents the world's first animation Music Blu-ray in genuine “Real 3D” with 7.1 + 5.1 surround sound. "The project of the brothers Martin and Giorgio Koppehele is a total work of art" and is "A fabulous entertainment package" so says the Stereoplay DVD magazine, because "the sound is overwhelming." The ambient music project ‘LICHTMOND 1: MOONLIGHT’ which was released in 2011 as a standard 2D Blu-Ray, DVD and Compact Disc, have now of course have now released the superior ‘LITCHMOND 1: MOONLIGHT 3D’ Blu-ray disc.
LITCHMOND also gave their first stage debut in 2010 at the "Night of the Proms" tour, and it consisted of Giorgio Koppehele: Keyboard; Martin Koppehele: Bass ans Keyboard; Meera Fé: Singer; Esraj Saskia Philipps: Voice and Thomas E. Killinger: Reciter and piano. This in turn led to them earning high praise with all press critics, who were as follows: LICHTMOND 2 is an absolute benchmark in the audio-visual 3D-segment.' (Widescreen). “LICHTMOND 2 has got better 3D than even ‘AVATAR’ has.” (SFT). “One of the best 3D Blu-ray discs in the world.” (Moviemann). “Once again the consumer can expect a multimedia synthesis of the arts.” (3D-Tower). “Visual “dream worlds” and perfectly mixed ambient sounds in surround sound quality: the 3D Blu-ray 'LICHTMOND 2: Universe of Light' is a true experience.” They eventually reached Number 3 in the German Music Blu-ray and DVD Charts and were awarded the International Impala Silver Award.
The “Real 3D” animations of the visual "dream worlds" are created together with the Spanish artist Diego M. Bonati, Imago D. Studios and the producers and creative minds behind ‘LICHTMOND 3D: MOONLIGHT’ are the Munich Koppehele brothers, but now even got a bigger step further and provide a sensation in the music world with ‘LICHTMOND 3: Days of Eternity’ that has been released via AL!VE! / Blu Phase Media and is the world's first animation Music Blu-Ray to have 7.1. and 5.1 surround sound in “Real 3D” in which you can totally "immerse" yourself literally. "3D is all the rage and this edition of ‘LICHTMOND 1: MOONLIGHT’ is a total dream that has come true for all of us. Imago D Studios had already created all the imagery for ‘LICHTMOND 1: MOONLIGHT’ with our Spanish animation team, we had to be transported into a really fascinating 3D world right now. In addition to produce the vision of three-dimensional worlds, we needed especially large computing power to produce and create a true stereoscopic 3D vision. Alan Parsons referred and compared LICHTMOND to a modern Tangerine Dream or Kraftwerk. LICHTMOND collaborators have been with various international guest artists such as Alan Parsons, Boy George, I Muvrini, Midge Ure and Martyn Ware.
In ‘LICHTMOND 1: MOONLIGHT’ you will see "grow" some amazing objects, such as the flight fish forming before your very eyes during seeing endless landscapes before you in an incredible sculptural depth extending into the distance and experiencing genuine “Real 3D” images, which is the perfect complement to the ‘LICHTMOND 1: MOONLIGHT’ surround soundscapes that you hear in the music of their very original creative compositions. 3D Blu-ray Image Quality – ‘LICHTMOND 1: MOONLIGHT’ “Real 3D” Blu-ray disc, and from the first moment it emerges visually, you will experience a totally jaw dropping awesome experience, as the “Real 3D” image quality is out of this world; because the 1080p image is total perfection, which is enhanced with a brilliant 1.78:1 aspect ratio. The intro can only be described as outstanding. extremely exhilarating and totally magical, and it gets a whopping vote from me and especially the “Real 3D” mastering gives straight away a valued positively striking and consistently defined moment and especially a very special home cinema experience. Incidentally, ‘LICHTMOND 1: MOONLIGHT’ has some of the most awesome “Real 3D” effects that the home theatre experience will give you! Because it is totally outstanding from the start, but also is the beautiful finale sequence of the "Sunset (Abedrot)" where the gondola with the beautiful black cat leaves the galaxy, thereby projecting it clearly far out into the solar system. This viewing experience is simply totally stunning and will move to some spin tingling emotions at the same time, which is very deep and breath-taking at the same time. While the depth of field is consistently awesome, and it also enables the “Real 3D” to really pop out towards the audience and experience a truly amazing visual extravaganza and the rest of the quality of the 3D Blu-ray disc, has an amazing luminous contrast, as well as brilliant blacks and superb vibrant colours, the 3D Blu-ray disc is by far one of the 3D Blu-ray discs highest top quality ever. Also, the amazing level of detail really stands out constantly in all its glory!
3D Blu-ray Audio Quality – The soundtrack for ‘LICHTMOND 1: MOONLIGHT’ is present in 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio and 2.0 LPCM Stereo Audio, and gives you an awesome dynamically sounding sound distribution, especially in the 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, where you get Thomas E. Killinger speaking in all the speakers in your Home Cinema system and it is an awesome experience and the first time you hear Thomas E. Killinger going to every speaker, at first is a very unnerving experience, but totally awesome at the same time and is largely intoxicating and exhilarating at the same time. The bass is totally superb and appears both musically and in terms of effects, a total cinematic experience. You sometimes get strong sonic and echoing passages from German poems that is spoken by Thomas E. Killinger in German only and there is no subtitles, plus all the songs are sung by Meer Fé, Saskia Philipps and Thomas E. Killinger and you will experience something truly wonderful, especial the female singers, who have totally beautiful angelic voices, that at times gives you an impression of audio perfection.
